KSI just finished installing this snazzy setup for weighing and dimensioning packages in rapid succession. The customer was measuring packages using a scale and a tape measure then manually inputting the data into their shipping software. They were looking a better/faster way to ship as the current process is completely manual and riddled with human error. The new setup uses a roller scale conveyor with the new Rice Lake i-Dimension Plus dimensioner. In less than 1 second the package is weighed, dimensioned and all fields on the shipping software get automatically populated removing human error from the equation. No more shipping fines for inaccurate dimensional weight for this lucky customer.
